Reeces PB&J cookies

This past holiday season I had more than a few occasions where I needed to make some cookies (including a cookie party and a cookie swap).  I also had a few bags of frozen Reeces peanut butter cups, purchased half priced after Halloween and I figured why not come up with a cookie that incorporates them. After tinkering a bit with ideas I came up with the Reeces peanut butter and jelly cookies.  These peanut butter thumbprint cookies have a great flavor which reminds you of enjoying a PB&J sandwich as a kid,  they were a big hit at all the parties. Simple and easy to make, I highly suggest trying them.

I give to you internet; a hearty, spicy, savory meal that is easy to prepare and wonderful to eat.

WTF?…Why do they make that?

Yes, yes internet I know. I have been away for quite a while. Well, not really ‘away’ I mean I spend my whole day on the internet, I’ve just been lazy busy. But like Corey’s little sister in ‘Boy Meets World’, who one day went up to her room and disappeared only to re-appear 2 seasons later. Let’s just pretend like I never left.

So in the past 5 months I’ve had a lot of big changes in my life, that I’d rather not get into (If you actually know me, then you already know whats was up). Instead I … Continue Reading

Rocks & Salt?

“Rocks and Salt?”.  That is the question I learned that as a bartender you always need to ask when making someone a margarita. Yes ladies and gentleman as of Friday night at 10:18pm I am now a licensed bartender, and have the knowledge and skills to make well over 100+ different drinks.

Most people wouldn’t take me as someone who would want to be a bartender, or have a bartender’s skills.  I think that is because of a misconception in thinking.  People hear someone is a bartender and thinks “well, they must really like booze”, but that’s flawed, a bartender doesn’t … Continue Reading
