Spring Fever

Spring is in the air (officially, yesterday), and though the temperature here in Boston might not feel like it (currently 48* outside) it’s definitely not winter anymore.

I tend to forget ho much I enjoy the warmer weather, maybe it’s because I’m a winter baby and love the cold weather (as long as I do not have to shovel) or maybe it’s because I’m a programmer/nerd who inherently spends most of his time in doors away from the light.  Whatever the reason, every year when it gets warmer I’m hit with spring fever.

One of the best things about the warm weather is that I can get back on my bike.

My Bike

My Bike

my super awesome blue bike.

Last year I have to admit I didnt take very good care of my bike.  I left it chained to a fence to brave the elements (rain ect..).  Well not this year, this year I built a bike tent.

All I needed was some blue tarp, twine, tent poles and spikes.  Also thanks to some scraps I found around the yard (Yay roxbury trash!) I found an old piece of fencing (a gate post) that I was able to put in the ground so Jill and I had a place to lock our bikes up.

And finally, the Stop n’ Shop near me was having a sale on house plants (have been meaning to buy one since we moved in a year ago), Jill and I were able to pick this up for $5. It adds a bit of freshness to our bedroom.

So get out there enjoy the weather, I sure am, and I’m on my way to buy another $5 plant.
