Snow Days

When I was a kid I loved snow days.  I could always tell when one was coming the night before the sky would be orange (an effect caused by light pollution and the snow particulates in the sky).  So in the monring I would wake up extra early, sit in front of the heater grate and watch the news, waiting for the school district to come up.  The day would then be followed by cereal, cartoons and playing in the snow…. those were the days.

Now, well now like many adults I dispise snow days for 2 major reasons.
