A Trip Down Memory Basement

A few weeks ago, I got a call from my mom.  She had gotten a dumpster and wanted me to come home and go through all my stuff that’s at her house, and throw away whatever I didn’t want.  So the following weekend I got a zipcar and took a drive to Ashland.

Awaiting for me in the basement was a huge pile of junk:

Spring Cleaning

Before I start this entry, let me just say Happy Mothers day to all the moms,step-moms, grandmas, aunts, ect.. in the world. Without you no one would be here.

Biggest Leap of my Life

So this weekend marked the five year anniversary for Jill and I, which in my view is kind of a big deal.  To think that we can spend 5 years together without killing each other is an accomplishment. We wanted to do something special to mark this milestone and  back in December at an expo at the Pru we saw a booth for Skydiving(Skydive New England).  What a better way to celebrate being together, then jumping out of a plane.  So back in February I signed us up.

We were set for the best weekend ever.

Boston Tourist Safari

The first really wonderful weekend in Boston, obviously Jill and I wanted to get out of the city. Why? tourists, that’s why.  They fill the city like hair fills a drain when a balding man takes a shower.  (I don’t know why I made that analogy, it’s filled with pretty bad imagery).  After unsuccessfully finding something we could go do out side the city we decided we’d embrace the tourist season and go on a type of safari.  As we walked through the city we tried to discover as many different types of tourists as possible.
